Riegel was in town earlier this week as part of her lecture tour that included several stops in Michigan. Brought to town by Institute for Global Education, the retired educator and grandmother of seven is on tour speaking about her recent books on peace movements and war resistance.
Her books include âCrossing the Line: Nonviolent Resisters Speak Out For Peace,â and âDoing Time For Peace: Resistance, Family, and Community.â
